exhibition of the 40th anniversary of the Portuguese Constitution took place in
the central atrium of the Portuguese Parliament.
Taking advantage of the
historic and impressive beauty of the space, 5 video mapping projections were created over the existing arches, telling the story and explaining
relevance of the existence of a Constitution today.
To make the historical
and physical link to the Constitution itself, the introduction to the
exhibition was achieved through a giant book with dimensions of 140cm x 100cm. All
visitors were invited to flip through the blank pages of the book.
As it is turned, each page comes to life with animated
content, providing information both on the different Constitutions that
Portugal has had over time, as well as on the moments that preceded the
approval of the 1976 constitution.
